Terms of Service

By creating an account, purchasing Pro, publishing to Community, or otherwise using Sermon Notes Pro, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Sermon Notes Pro for a church, ministry, school, business, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to do so. Keep your account credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Standard and Pro
Standard is Free Forever and may be supported by advertising in the Editor. Pro is an optional subscription currently intended at $4.99 USD per month after a 7-day free trial. The price, currency, taxes, trial eligibility, and billing period displayed by the applicable app store or checkout provider at purchase control.
Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds
Pro renews automatically unless canceled through the store or billing provider before renewal. Canceling stops future renewal but ordinarily does not refund the current billing period. Refund requests are handled under the policy of the store or provider that processed the purchase. You can access subscription management from Account & Sync, and mobile users can restore eligible purchases.
Your content
You retain ownership of sermon content you create. You grant Sermon Notes Pro a limited, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and transmit your content only as needed to operate features you request, including sync, presentation, export, collaboration, and Community publishing. You can end this license for private cloud content by deleting it or your account, subject to limited backup and legal retention.
Community
Do not post abusive, illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, infringing, deceptive, privacy-invasive, or spam content. Community content may be reported, hidden, removed, or subject to account suspension. You may block other users. Posting requires acceptance of the Community Guidelines. You remain responsible for what you publish and the permissions needed to publish it.
Copyright, Scripture, and media
You are responsible for having permission to upload, present, share, or distribute images, video, Scripture text, and other third-party material. Bible translations remain subject to their publishers' rights and attribution requirements. Availability of a translation does not grant permission for uses beyond the rights shown in the app or supplied by its publisher.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass subscription enforcement; probe or disrupt security; introduce malware; scrape or overload the service; access another person's private content; impersonate others; abuse Community; violate intellectual-property or privacy rights; or use the service in violation of law. We may limit or suspend access reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal compliance.
Presentation responsibility
Sermon Notes Pro is designed for offline-first presentation reliability, but no software can guarantee uninterrupted operation on every device, network, projector, media file, or third-party service. Keep an appropriate backup, use Preflight, and rehearse important presentations before live delivery.
Third-party services
App stores, payment providers, cloud storage, advertising, Scripture providers, speech recognition, AI, and other connected services are governed by their own terms. Their availability or decisions may affect features, and Sermon Notes Pro is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.
NDI technology
Some Pro builds include NDI® technology for compatible local-network video output. NDI is third-party technology and is not sponsored, warranted, or supported by Sermon Notes Pro. You may not modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, recompile, or attempt to discover the source code, algorithms, structure, or network protocols of the NDI SDK, NDI products, or any part of them. You may not create derivative works from them, circumvent technical limitations, or remove, obscure, or alter proprietary notices or labels.
NDI and its licensors provide their technology without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, NDI and its licensors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of Sermon Notes Pro or its NDI output. You must comply with applicable United States export-control and trade-sanctions laws. Third-party developers using Sermon Notes Pro to create another product must comply with the applicable NDI SDK license and include equivalent protections in their end-user terms. Service changes and termination
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will provide reasonable notice when a material change affects paid functionality where practical. You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your cloud account from Account & Sync.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Sermon Notes Pro is not a substitute for your own backup or presentation contingency plan. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
