Put Audience View where the room needs it.

Use direct HDMI for the simplest projector connection, or send the video-only NDI® feed to compatible production software on the same local network.

Before connecting any program

1. Connect the speaker device and production computer to the same local Wi-Fi or wired LAN. Avoid guest Wi-Fi because it often blocks devices from seeing one another.
2. Open the sermon in the mobile app, enter Presentation Mode, then choose Venue Broadcast → Start Venue Broadcast.
3. On the production computer, look for Sermon Notes Pro — Speaker Device in the program’s NDI or network-video source list.
4. Test slide changes, video, and the backup display path before service. This release sends video over NDI; route clip audio through direct HDMI.

ProPresenter

1. Open Settings → Inputs. If ordinary discovery does not connect, open NDI Input Discovery and add the tablet IP shown in the app under Additional Search IPs.
2. Choose + Video Input, select Sermon Notes Pro — Speaker Device, and confirm the input preview is moving.
3. Create a new slide. Edit that slide, add a Video Input element, and choose the input you just created. Creating an input alone does not put it on a slide.
4. Route that slide to the screen or Look used for the audience output.

If the manually added address works, reserve the tablet’s IP in the venue router’s DHCP settings. The address then remains stable and should not need to be re-entered. Direct IP discovery is usually only necessary when multicast discovery is blocked by the Wi-Fi or network configuration.

OBS Studio

1. Install a current NDI input plug-in such as DistroAV, then restart OBS.
2. In the desired Scene, choose Sources → + → NDI Source.
3. Select Sermon Notes Pro — Speaker Device, then size it to the canvas.
4. Keep OBS, its NDI plug-in, and NDI runtime on compatible versions.

vMix

1. Choose Add Input → NDI / Desktop Capture.
2. Select Sermon Notes Pro — Speaker Device.
3. Add the input to the production and route it to the intended output.

Wirecast

1. Add a new shot and open the network or NDI source list.
2. Select Sermon Notes Pro — Speaker Device.
3. Place the shot on the desired layer and take it live when needed.

EasyWorship

EasyWorship’s NDI workflow varies by version and is commonly used to send an EasyWorship output to another program. If your installed version does not list incoming NDI sources, use one of these dependable paths:

• Connect the tablet directly to the projector or display with USB-C to HDMI.
• Export JPEG, PNG, PowerPoint, or ProPresenter-ready slides from Sermon Notes Pro and import them into the service schedule.
• Use an NDI Tools bridge or a production switcher such as OBS or vMix, then feed that program’s output into the church display workflow.

Other presentation software

If the program can receive an NDI video source, Sermon Notes Pro should appear like any other NDI sender. Look for commands such as Add Input, Network Video, NDI Source, or IP Video. If the program only sends NDI and cannot receive it, use direct HDMI, exported slides, or a compatible switcher in between.

Wireless TVs and projectors

Samsung Smart View, Miracast, Google Cast, and AirPlay normally mirror the whole device. They may work for a simple audience-only view, but they do not reliably preserve separate speaker controls and audience output. USB-C to HDMI or NDI to a production computer is the recommended service-day setup.

Source not showing?

• Confirm both devices are on the same non-guest network and disable VPNs temporarily.
• Allow the receiving program through the computer firewall on private/local networks.
• If the source appears but does not connect, enter the tablet IP in ProPresenter’s NDI Input Discovery → Additional Search IPs.
• Turn Venue Broadcast off and on after the receiving program is open.
• Use wired Ethernet for the production computer when possible.
• Keep direct HDMI or exported slides ready as the fallback.
